I bought this to replace a mouse I've had for three years. The old mouse squeaked, it was slow, and because it was a ball mouse, it needed frequent cleaning and worked poorly.
I just plugged this one in and ran with it. It's blazing fast and accurate, with no skipping and no noise. I'm very pleased with it. There is an option to install software to get extra features, but I haven't used it. I just want something that points and clicks and doesn't require a download. Works great.

I bought this mouse with an Amazon gift card to replace the mouse that came with my HP desktop. The one that I previously owned clicked very loudly and was very fat in my hand. I purchased this mouse expecting it to be very small, according to other reviews, and generally not the greatest. However, this mouse exceeded all of my expectations - it's relatively quiet, sensitive but not too much, and fits very snugly in my hand (14 year old). This mouse is great.

Good solid mouse, worked without any issues on both Windows XP and Windows 7. No bells or whistles, just works well.

I dont know why the picture shows a two-tone fancy and shiny looking mouse which has little in common with the dark grey one that I have, but I dont really care. The mouse works, so for the most part Im happy. It is a very light mouse, so it was a little bit of a shock for me coming from my desktop mouse which has more mass. I do somewhat prefer the desktop mouse because I end up overshooting whatever I try to click on or shoot at (virtually of course :) ) with this one. The adapter from usb to sp2 (?) is great I suppose, Ill keep it around for the unlikely occasion that I ever need it, but I havent seen a computer with that sort of plug in years, and they certainly dont make them anymore (that I have seen). In conclusion its an ok mouse, but If I were looking for one again Id probably shell out a couple bucks more for something of better quality.
