Eh... I bought this item to watch TV and junk on my laptop so that I could keep one less thing plugged in. It works, for what it's worth. The video quality is okay at best. The audio is horrid, however. I bought one of those female red and white a/v cords to a 3.5mm jack and connected it through a separate program and the audio is no problem now...
The CD that came with it for installation was pretty tricky, too, only because it had no serial code to activate the only necessary program needed for the Easycap to work. I had to go online to find a serial code. Also, the instruction manual is pretty laughable. It's almost entirely useless. It also says that it comes with Ulead Video Studio 8, and it is not. It's like 10 or something... That made it worse.
Yeah, it does what it says it will and gets the job done, but honestly it is a huge hassle to set up, especially if you aren't computer competant or patient, for that matter. For the price, it is pretty nice, though, even with that extra female a/v to 3.5mm jack I bought, (less than $15). I don't know... I guess if you're really feelin' froggy, jump.

i payed an extra 7 dollars for shipping and it was supposed to be expedited...?? but seller sent it thru usps? that is not expedited although i have to admit they did get it into the reg. mail really fast.. still isnt considered expedited by my standards
